Dr. Vinson’s passion for oral health and happy smiles began at an early age. When she was younger, both her parents received smile makeovers that changed their lives. She still remembers the tears of joy when her mom and dad saw their new, improved smiles for the first time. From that moment, Dr. Vinson knew that she wanted to be a part of the profession that makes true improvements in the physical and emotional aspects of people’s lives.
Dr. Vinson grew up in Georgia. When she moved to South Carolina for college, she knew this is where she’d put down her roots. After she graduated from the College of Charleston, she received her DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) from Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. From there, she completed her 3 year Prosthodontics residency in Birmingham at the University of Alabama, where she served as chief resident.
Now that she’s back in South Carolina, Dr. Vinson is proud to serve the community of Mount Pleasant and offer compassionate dental care in a friendly environment. Hi, my name is Crissy! I have over 12 years of experience as an office coordinator, and I've been with Advanced Dentistry of Mount Pleasant since the practice began. I first started my career in the dental industry as an assistant. My favorite thing about working at Advanced Dentistry of Mount Pleasant is that I love getting to know our patients and watching their smiles transform. I grew up right here in Mount Pleasant, and when I'm not in the office I like to spend time with my family and friends. I also enjoy boating, paddle boarding, and shark tooth hunting.
Hi! My name is Ashley. I recently moved from Northern Virginia to enjoy warmer weather in Charleston. I’ve worked in the dental field for over 8 years and enjoy helping patients achieve their dental goals. When I’m not at the office I enjoy cooking, hiking and planning my next trip!
Hi! I’m Madison, and I moved to Charleston from San Diego, California. I graduated from James Madison University in 2018 with a Bachelor in Health Science. I’ve always been interested in dentistry, especially after having my own jaw surgery gave me a greater desire to dive further into the field and help patients with their own dental journey. Outside of the office I love riding my bike and playing with my German shorthaired pointer puppy!
Hey there! I'm Kelli, it’s good to meet you. I grew up in Colorado Springs, CO. After graduating from CU Boulder, I did what all Biology majors do next - I got a job as a ski lift operator (My parents were so proud). But, as fate would have it, I met a fellow ski bum who later became my husband. I love the mountains, but a part of me always wanted to live near the beach. In 2005, we moved to a sleepy little town called Mt. Pleasant. I worked as both an orthodontic assistant and a dental assistant before deciding to go back to school to become a registered dental hygienist. As weird as it sounds, I love teeth. I love helping people improve their oral health, their confidence, their smile, and their overall well-being! I am so happy to have found my new home here at Advanced Dentistry. My other home is filled with love and noise from our 2 young boys, an energetic Labrador retriever, an aging queen cat, and a semi-struggling tank of fish.
Hey, y'all! I'm Ashton and I grew up along the coast of South Carolina in the historic fishing village of Murrels Inlet. Following graduation from the College of Charleston, with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health, I found myself working as an office administrator and patient coordinator with my childhood dentist. My love of people created a desire to serve patients chairside, which led me back to school to become a registered dental hygienist. I love partnering with patients to improve their overall well-being and help them love their smile! I'm honored to be serving Mount Pleasant and our surrounding Lowcountry areas with quality care and empowering patients in their knowledge of oral health, which is important for our overall health. Hey, yall! I’m Sara! I was born and raised in the bluegrass state of Kentucky, but I absolutely love my South Carolina life. God has blessed me with an amazing husband and two wild but sweet little boys. I enjoy working at Advanced Dentistry specifically because we truly have a passion for people. To me, that is the most important thing – to love and serve others. I feel like I’m right where I need to be! Most days you can find me keeping up with my littles, catching a great sale (who doesn’t love a good deal?!), at the gym, or cuddled up with a movie and enjoying sweets to boot!
